Halloween in Luxembourg: Dare to experience tales in the dark!

Dans le Noir? Luxembourg invites you to an experience as mysterious as it is unforgettable on Saturday, October 31, 2026. For the very first time, you can enjoy a dinner in total darkness, interspersed with two 30-minute tales told (in French) by a professional storyteller, Marielle Piccolo. In keeping with the tradition of fright associated with Halloween, the evening is reserved for guests aged 15 and over.
What if, Halloween were experienced in the dark this year in Luxembourg?
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the doors to our dark room will open for a Halloween evening unlike any other.
Forget traditional costume parties, horror movies, and haunted houses. For this special occasion, we invite you to immerse yourself in complete darkness and let your imagination take over.
For a few hours, your sense of sight will disappear and your other senses will take center stage. Sounds become more intense, scents grow sharper, flavours reveal themselves, and every noise captures your attention.
And because Halloween is above all a celebration that fuels our imagination, two tales in French will punctuate your dinner and transport you into a mysterious world filled with thrills, suspense, and imagination.
A sensory experience that promises to let you experience Halloween from a whole new perspective.
How the evening will unfold
The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the arrival of guests, who will be able to enjoy an aperitif and take the time to get to know the other guests before entering the darkness.
Once the lights are turned off, your usual points of reference will gradually disappear. Guided by our server-guides, you will be invited to surrender to this extraordinary experience.
Dinner will be served in complete darkness, as it is during our traditional Dans le Noir ? experiences. But for this exceptional evening, an additional dimension will be added to the sensory journey: two 30-minute tales will be told in French during your meal by a professional storyteller.
Marielle Piccolo will take you into a mystical universe, where you won't be able to rely on images or the expressions on her face. In the dark, her words will take on a whole new dimension. Every intonation, every silence, every sound will matter. Without any visual support, your imagination will be free to conjure its own images and, in doing so… unleash your deepest fears…

7:00 p.m. – 7:20 p.m.: Guest arrival and aperitif

The Novotel parking lot is available subject to availability.
If the parking lot is full, an underground car park is available immediately to the right of the hotel. A complimentary exit ticket can be requested from reception.
